Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases & use of Glow State Pilates (“Glow State”, “we”, “us”, “our”) services, including classes, memberships, packs & the website at www.glowstate.com.au. By booking a class, buying a product or entering the studio, you agree to these terms.

About Glow State

Glow State Pilates is operated by [legal entity name], ABN [ABN], located at [studio address], Victoria, Australia.

Bookings & Accounts

All classes must be booked in advance through [booking platform/website]. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate & secure. Bookings are personal & non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may refuse or cancel a booking where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

Class Styles & Availability

Our class styles may include Mat, Reformer, Strong Infusion, Pre & Post Natal & other formats as we introduce them. Some class styles are marked “Coming 2027” & are not yet available to book. We may change timetables, instructors, class formats, pricing & studio hours at any time, & will give reasonable notice where we can. Classes may be cancelled or merged due to low numbers, instructor unavailability or circumstances outside our control. If we cancel a class, you will receive a credit or refund for that class.

Pricing, Payments & Memberships

All prices are in Australian dollars & include GST where applicable. Payment is required at the time of booking or purchase unless you are on a recurring membership. Memberships & recurring payments are charged automatically on the billing date until cancelled. You must provide [X] days’ written notice to cancel or pause a membership. Class packs & intro offers are valid for the period stated at purchase, expire after that period & are non-refundable & non-transferable unless required by law. Failed payments may result in suspension of your booking access until the balance is paid.

Cancellations, Late Cancellations & No-Shows

You may cancel or reschedule a booking up to [X] hours before class start time at no charge. Cancellations inside this window & no-shows will result in the class being deducted from your pack or membership, or a fee of $[amount] being charged. Waitlist spots are offered automatically as places become available. Arriving after class has started may result in entry being refused for safety reasons, & the class will be treated as a no-show.

Health, Safety & Medical Clearance

Pilates involves physical activity, & you participate at your own risk & discretion. You confirm that you are medically fit to take part & that you have disclosed any injury, medical condition or limitation to us & your instructor before class. We strongly recommend seeking advice from your doctor or health professional before starting any exercise program, particularly if you are pregnant, postnatal, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a health condition. Please listen to your body, work within your own limits & tell your instructor straight away if you feel pain or discomfort. Instructors may modify or stop an exercise if they believe it is unsafe for you. Strong Infusion & other weighted classes include a recommended recovery day between sessions, & you should plan your attendance accordingly.

Pre & Post Natal Classes

Pre & Post Natal classes are designed to be adapted to your stage, but they are not a substitute for medical advice. You must have clearance from your doctor, midwife or women’s health physiotherapist before attending, & you must tell us if your circumstances change. Where babies are welcome, you remain fully responsible for your baby’s safety, supervision & care at all times, including around reformer equipment, springs, weights & other participants. Glow State & its instructors cannot supervise your child. Please let us know about your baby’s attendance when booking so we can manage space & safety.

Heated Classes

Where a class is run in a heated room, you are responsible for staying hydrated & for deciding whether heat is suitable for you. If you feel unwell, you should leave the room & tell a team member. If you are pregnant, have a heat-sensitive condition or are unsure, please consult your health professional first.

Studio Rules & Conduct

We ask that all clients: arrive at least [X] minutes before class; wear grip socks on reformers (available to purchase at the studio); keep phones on silent; treat other clients, instructors & staff with respect; & follow instructor directions at all times. We may remove anyone from the studio, without refund, for unsafe, disruptive, abusive or discriminatory behaviour. Glow State is intended to be a welcoming space for everyone, whatever their experience, body or glow on the day.

Equipment

Please use all equipment as instructed. You may be held responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence. Please report any damaged or faulty equipment to a team member straight away.

Assumption of Risk & Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you accept that exercise carries inherent risk of injury & that Glow State, its owners, instructors & staff are not liable for any loss, injury, illness or damage you suffer from attending, except where caused by our negligence or breach of duty. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupplying it.

Personal Belongings

Please keep valuables with you or leave them at home. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items left at the studio.

Photography, Video & Social Media

We may take photos or video in the studio for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be featured, please tell a team member before class & we will make reasonable efforts to respect that. Please do not photograph or film other clients or instructors without their consent.

Privacy

We collect & use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at [link]. This includes booking details, payment information & any health information you choose to share with us for safety purposes.

Refunds

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those guarantees, purchases are non-refundable unless stated in these terms or approved by us at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website & social channels, including text, images, branding, class names & designs, is owned by or licensed to Glow State & may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, & continued use of our services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law
